About GET
The Founding of Goldman,
Evans & Trammell
Goldman, Evans & Trammell began operations in 2006 when Douglas Fuchs, who had previously held the position of Managing Director of the world’s largest collection agency, decided to branch out on his own. He had become increasingly frustrated with how agencies interacted with clients and employees.
He was joined at the founding by Brett Whittier, who brought with him not only valuable specialized commercial collection training but vital legal and litigation knowledge and experience as well. The two began the company basing its practices on ethics, diligence, thoroughness, and client communication.
Michael Wirscham, the industry’s most powerful salesperson of the time, decided to take the leap and join the nascent agency. This crucial addition was the pivotal moment the company needed for growth and success.
This sublime combination of experience, talent, and expertise matured into what is now regarded as the most respected, effective, and professional commercial collection agency in the world, used by both global international companies and small entrepreneurs alike.
The Evolution of GET: Robert Painter Joins the Team
Robert Painter formally joined GET in 2018 and helped secure the company’s position as an industry leader with unprecedented sales and collections.

Seventeen years later, they reunited to elevate Goldman Evans & Trammell, achieving record-breaking sales and collections for the agency. Their determination has positioned them as one of the leading commercial collection agencies in the industry.
